Abbee Studio

Abbee Studio is a handcrafted artwork site, featuring the creations of Bob and Dianna Gibson. Dianna paints in abstract style with Mixed-Media watercolor, while Bob creates woodturnings on his lathe, including a variety of bowls, candleholders, boxes, and more.

This website launched in June of 2019. As the owners catch up on the farm work surrounding their primary business, B&D Lilies, we will continue to add photos of their work, possibly activating e-commerce capabilities as a future update.

Quilcene Historical Museum: Worthington Park

Worthington Park is a special events center operated by the Quilcene Historical Museum: a 501(c)3 historical organization dedicated to preserving the past for future generations.

The redesigned website launched in March of 2019 to document ongoing restoration efforts of the Worthington Mansion, honor donors and volunteers, and to serve as a rallying point for the local community in support of the Museum’s goals. Already in operation as an outdoor event center with the Linger Longer Stage – visible on the right side of the hero image in the screenshot – the Museum’s next project is conducting their Open the Doors fundraising campaign to complete restoration and install the necessary infrastructure for full event capabilities.

Munn Bro's Hood Canal Properties

Munn Bro’s is a real estate agency in Quilcene, WA. Jim and Bruce Munn specialize in raw land, though you will find houses among their listings as well.

The primary goal of their website redesign (launched in March of 2018) was to modernize its design with mobile-friendly formatting, while preserving the ability for clients to browse MLS listings and receive automated notification emails when new properties matching their search criteria are added to the system; easing the process of real estate transactions.

None of these websites have a credit link in the footer. How do I know they are your work?
When a client website contains a credit link to Wild Song Design, it will be a single link located at the bottom of the ‘About’ page – rather than a site-wide footer link, like many other designers use. Why? I find the footer link practice to be a bit too obtrusive, because your customers’ goal is to interact with you.

Why are there captions on some of the website screenshots?
A website contains many parts – and often include the intellectual property of many artists not necessarily involved in the website. I am delighted to give a credit line to the creators of the fantastic images found on my clients’ websites. Remember, someone owns that great photograph you found online. Make sure you have permission to use it, and give credit where credit is due.
